Very cute pic. I would suggest a white turtleneck, and then red gloves to break up the color. Blue & white striped socks would be great! I think your hair would pull out the blue from them. Then, I'd suggest some kind of topper on your head, but not all clowns use them. Some kind of hat would be nice to finish your look.
As far as the makeup bleeding--did you look at the thread about makeup tips? there are some good ones there. Are you powdering in between each color you apply? Are you using grease paint?? Make sure you have good makeup and it won't bleed. Powder with a sock filled with talc after each color you apply. it gives it a good finished look and sets your makeup. Then get a good, BIG blush brush and brush off excess powder. If you're using a nose, then don't apply any makeup to that part of your nose. You have a great start!
