As Shoq already mentioned, glue stick will work fine.
You can also buy special puttys that are meant specifically to plaster stuff down. It's usually used for eyebrows and breards and such. You just smooth the putty over the hair, then apply you makeup on top of that. If done correctly, you shouldn't be able to see any signs of hair!

I don't recommend trying to cover it up just with makeup....I know that'll work okay for thin eyebrows (when I had to be green last year, I just covered up my own eyebrows with pancake, and that worked okay for fairly lightly coloured and thin eyebrows.) but anything too thick or bushy will cause trouble.
