Moz o, It sounds like you have gotten a good, solid foundation in clowning. Even without the camp. I would love to go to one, Hopefully I will. Looks like I'm going to a new job very soon. I hope so!I would really like to take my family to the circus wolrd museum in Baraboo next summer.
I'd like to make an analogy here.I've played the guitar for the last 27 years. As I matured as a musician,I heard snippets of guitars players over the years but mainly I tried to learn to play like Chet Atkins. There were things I couldn't do or figure out so I made up my own licks. As a result My guitar playing doesn't sound like anyone else. IT IS ALL MINE. Did I get things from others? Absolutely. But too many my age thought all they could do is learn to play like Eddie Van Hale, or Steve Vai, both are very skilled, but because they learned all their licks and nothing else, many can't play anything original as a result. They can't only play those set licks and patterns.
Be original! And by the looks of things Mose, You've got that figured out!
