Hey Jeremy,

You may havre the answered your own question to use a self-propelled lawn mower for your "trunk end of act stunt" just a matter of head scratching to make things appear as you want them to. They have the electric starts now on lawn mowers which could also be made to start with a "remote"...
If the trunk isn't too heavy my imagination leads me to Toy's "R" Us where one can find endless self propelled cars and such with an endless array of sound-effects.

The TP gun has me stymied a little as I am not sure of the effect you are trying to create. If it is a TP gun then the sensational idea of floating paper out in to thin air from a leaf blower is'nt gonna cut it. When I think of a TP gun I seem to get an image of a TP cannon that would fire the whole roll or....
Have fun Jeremy...
Just Jim
