I was doing an event this weekend with Scruffy and did a little magic trick. I had one of the kids waiting for a balloon wrap a rope around my legs and then crossed and wrapped around my hands and tied.

I then have them place a blanket over me. I will then remove a hand and pull the blanket up higher. And tell them that is has to be more like this. And pull it up higher.

Sometmes I would take a hand out and tap Scruffy on the shoulder. And then I would put the hand back. Then when Scruffy or the kid pulls the blanket off my hands are still tied.

This gag can run for a bit. And it really shocks kids.
