You have just named the number one reason to avoid a squeaking nose.

Anyway, many start with one. The are a neat nose. There is no law that says you must wear a proknows. In fact, I don't. If you like the nose that you know; You could take the squeaker out and use it. In fact. that is what I've done with two of the noses my kids use. You can also put a string on any proknows that is made. Leon also makes a line called Circus Pro. Which are made to be strung. The glue is pretty strong stuff, as is the tape. If fact, I use the tape, and it can hurt when you pull it off!
One thing I would suggest. If people reach for you nose just say," Hey, I didn't try to squeak you nose. Please don't do it to me! It's not very nice." I have used this myself and it works well. Or, you could carry a palm squeaker. If you make other people squeak, make everything BUT your nose squeak.
Best of luck, and Welcome to the forum!
