I get nearly my entire wardrobe from places like Goodwill. There's a chain of used stores out here that dominates called Value Village. It's a nice huge clean store but geared towards a more slightly worn look than decades out of fashion clothes I tend to keep an eye for. Still, I can usually land a decent pair of vaudeville nouveau pants and collared shirts. Of course that look is inspired so much by Bill Irwin that I feel the need to branch out into my own style which is very hard to satisfy. Right now I am looking for a too small baby blue suit coat, huge brown or black slacks with an old timey feel and a low buttoned vest that buttons to just barely above the stomach. Yeah I'm including a shirt in there! I've already got a great one! Buster Keaton wears a similar style in this photo to what I am looking for. This kind of stuff is near impossible to find at the used stores and I have little to no skill at sewing such complicated items as jackets and vests.
