Sounds like a blast! Wish I could drop in but being in the Northwest makes that just a bit too far away. I thought I could suggest some fun things you guys might want to do though!
Movie night!
Popeye the Movie, The Greatest Show on Earth, Black and White Silents, Little Rascals etc etc! Microwave popcorn and lots of snacks! (Healthy ones would be ok too I guess.)
For the fun and practice of it you could create multi-clown clown sketches. Just like your other jams you guys could get together and improvise various sketches of the kind seen in the circuses with half a dozen clowns. I think that would be extremely fun and enlightening and you all would probably develop new material that you can twist a little to use by yourself. Someone can come up with a setting like say a movie theatre and then the group improvises with the idea. I know that is something I would love to do myself.
Performances. One or two shows each clown has done before, then each clown writes up a new clown show or two for performance the next day. It would be really fun to see the already developed shows then see what someone might come up with in an evening! An all magic clown show would be an interesting challenge to see how each clown's tricks can be used in the same show.
A clown parade. A fully costumed and Kazooed afternoon walk around parade throughout the common area of the hotel and a bit of audience participation and balloon twisting! Since you will have a group of clowns together who are brimming with artistic energies this would be a great way to get out there with the public. I think a lot of people would enjoy something like this. It could also be a great way to give out your card and show off your walk around gags. If not at the Hotel, then some other public place that would allow such an event!
A reserved breakfast somewhere. A great way to get to know other people is to eat with them. Sitting together as human beings who want to enjoy each other's company. I had breakfast with a huge group of people from the Goonies forum (Its a 1985 adventure movie where a bunch of kids go looking for One Eyed Willy's pirate treasure.) in 2005 for the films 20th anniversary. There were about 30 of us and I got to know a lot of them better and some people I had been talking to from other countries like Spain and the UK were finally sitting next to me. It was great! This took place in Astoria Oregon where the movie was filmed. It was a turn out of thousands. You wouldn't believe it unless you saw it!
Thrift Store Slalom. Someone could scout out the thrift stores in the area and all the clowns can go on a clown shopping spree! Might be cool to find local magic shops too. Imagine being able to get feedback on a thrift outfit or magic trick you're considering buying!
I bet one of the coolest things to come of this meet up will be your clown collaboration on so many levels, it is such a great gift to be able to meet and collaborate with other artists in your own field. I am sure you guys are going to have a blast!
