Allow me to add my two cents. The United States (which I'll assume is where you are) is largely Christian in religion and it's easy to guess that most of the people in the nursing home would be of that faith, especially since they lived in a time when religion was key. Depending on which state you're in, it can vary. You might find a large Jewish population in some states or whatever religion in whatever state, who knows.
Still, if the nursing home wanted you to remain secular, I think they would have told you.
Now, the religious content you are bringing is harmless. They're fun little songs that are easy to remember and sing. It's not as though you're going in with a gun and forcing people to do anything. You're going there to be a clown and bring joy, not to be a dictator.
