Wow Beatdog, Those are two completely different schools with two completely different approaches to clowning. What are you thinking of doing when it comes to clowning? Are you thinking about birthday parties or more Cirque du Solei style theatre? If you are leaning towards theatre then I would recommend NY Goofs. If you are thinking about all around clowning; birthday parties, parades, balloon twisting, face painting, comedy magic and that sort of thing, well then I think that Clown camp is a worthwhile learning experience but I would passionately recommend Mooseburger Clown Arts Camp in MN www.mooseburger.com Not only to you get a jam packed week full of fun, friends and mega learning, but you make contacts that you can call on throughout the year when you run into a problem or a question.

Can you tell us more about how you became interested in clowning and what you are hoping to do with your skills? And what part of LA are you from? There are a number of talented entertainers in your neck of the woods.
