Thankyou all,
I'm not inexperienced in Nursing homes, My first job was PT director in a nursing home, and I work with alzhimer, dementia patents, I've also specialized in TBI, my concern is that theses pt can easily percieve some thing strange as fearful, ie giant spiders, etc. which is why we only go to the dayroom. which is at the desk big open window and nursing right there. Working in the medical field and watching their response did bother me [I will not put a family member at this facility]. My frustration is they want us to visit, but don't really prepare that area for the visit. I'll have to talk with activity director, before the next one, hopefully next month.
