Clown Makeup question
Don't know if this is the right place in the forum for this question (sorry if it's not). I met a gal a my church who said she might be interested in trying to be a clown with me to do nursing home ministry, etc. She knows even LESS than I do about clowning, and that's saying a lot! My question is: her skin is fairly dark (pardon the pun). Do you suggest any certain type of clown makeup for a dark skinned person? I would think that whiteface should be out (too drastic). Some sort of auguste? But even the flesh tone would be pretty drastic on her. Any suggestions, or can you point me to pictures of dark skinned clowns? Thanks!
