Wait, how can you call Konrad Beezo evil? Especially having read the book, you should know better than that. With all that he went through, it's no surprise that he acted the way he did.
A truly evil person would do those things with no motivation or reason. Konrad, however, based his actions majorly on the protection and happiness of his son. Besides that, he had gone through so much in one lifetime that would make any man sink to his knees.
By the way, I protest your use of the word "psychotic" and the way you have attached it to the term "evil."
To be psychotic means you have lost touch with reality and many psychotic people exhibit hallucinations, disorganized beliefs, and impaired social skills. To be psychotic is NOT to be evil.
The catch-all phrase "psychotic" happens to run in my mothers side of the family, and two of my close cousins are classified legally as psychotic. Those two men will be the kindest men you ever meet, I promise you that.
Please be considerate and think before you use that term in such a derogatory manner.
