There is no real way to compare relgious fanaticism with basic censorship. Sure, some of the aspects are "kind of" the same, but fundamentalists and fanatics of
any religion almost make it embarrassing to be a human.
Also, putting every form of censorship under a blanket definition isn't possible for a realistic debate. For the most part I am against censorship, but someone can always find a "what if" scenario that could make that decision be "wrong." The issue with "what if" scenarios is that they are generally endless and unrealistic.

The news has been censored for years by the producers and editors. CNN and Fox News often report opposite findings on the same stories - pick your preference whether you are Republican (Fox) or Democrat (CNN). I'd argue that the longest running fictional television show is your nightly news...
