I'm really curious about these comments, because sponging doesn't IMHO take any longer or provide any less of an "airbrushed" effect than the StarBlend product. In fact, the StarBlend provides more of that look when used wet and... sponged.
The smoothie blender on dry StarBlend technique just doesn't work that well for me. I mean, I've got it to *work* but the colors are too flat for my tastes when applied that way and it takes me longer than sponging...
Personal preference in any case
