I'd always recommend against having unrelated services together. At best a few cutomers may migrate but at worst it can take away from your original business (because you cease to appear full time, an expert etc). Perhaps if a product included a TShirt image with your logo on, then a link from it to a new site form it would be reasonably appropriate, but it wouldn't truly drive much business.

I would recommend a separate site (or even a Blog may be easier and better) and then you could always make an email Broadcast to your existing customer list ... just as you might recommend anything.

The advantages would be that your clowning Blog would then be focussed and also both sites could (if you wished) benefit from a reciprocal link.
