The cotton is a good idea, but as usually by brain fired up jumped the tracks and dereailed and I came up with two others (not necessarily good ideas, just ides). In the craft section buy a small section of cushion foam or even a makeup/face painting sponge and use your dremel to shape so that it fits inside your Jim Howle nose then glue in place or not. The second is to buy a small can of "Great Stuff" foaming insulation in a can. It is sticky so you probably would want to mask off the outside of your nose until dry. I would probably use the low volume expanding variety because otherwise a little goes a very long way; and then again Dremel to the rescue for the shape to fit.
