Welcome to the Forum Lucas! I've had trouble in the past finding a good clown partner to perform with too. If you haven't yet I would recommend putting an ad in the Craig's List gig section of your town.
I have met two really good cohorts doing that myself. Also, hit up your local street fairs or head down to Venice beach and catch some acts. Then see if you can find them on MySpace or YouTube.
I met an amazing clown doing just that a couple years ago. Today I caught another act at our Street Fair. I looked her up on MySpace and there she was, she was also friends with that very same amazing clown. We've chatted and hopefully I'll have made a new friend. Networking is key!
