I'm planning a trip for my dad's 60th birthday on July 25th back home to Michigan.
I haven't been back since 2003... since my wedding... before my son Orion was born, before Jusby the Clown was born.
In addition to hauling the boy around to his great aunts and uncles and cousins I'm hoping to connect with other clowns.
Maybe do a playshare, take a class, give a workshop, do a performance... dress up for a photo op a la visitor from the West. At the minimum, I'll surprise Dad with a Pie!
Dad lives in Gregory (outside of Chelsea (outside of Ann Arbor)). Other relatives live closer to Detroit.
My uncle is the artist behind the Fairy Doors of Ann Arbor.
