Ahhhhhh a clown after my own heart!!! THAT performance from Sound of Music I'm sure had a HUGE impact on me as a child since I have turned towards a career in puppetry concentrating on marionettes. I am in the process right now of creating my own marionettes to do a performance mimicking the lonely goat herder song. I actually did this song as my final song choice in my vocal class in college. I am making my goats out of mops to give it that wooly feeling. I'm off for a month long trip in July but once I get back, I will be devoting to that project full time. At least I have the designs in place. It's the building of the marionettes that take a ton of my time.

Back to the topic of the Chech marionettes. I think these are wonderful instruments for any level of puppeteer. I have been a great fan of the website mentioned for quite some time. The quality of the marionettes offered are so wonderful for the price. Also, they offer wholesale pricing if you hold a seller's license.

Aloha,
Nikole
