I've been working on a clown jacket - first stop was the fabric store where I found some wonderful fabric. Then I found a pattern for a men's jacket. Took that home, worked out the sizing. Cut the fabric a bit larger than the XL size and started sewing.

I'm going to add extra lapels and I made the cuffs bigger and put in some other extras. I'd think it would be easier to make a dress than a jacket, but who knows.

I've spent about $40 on fabric and trim, some of which was excess. I've never sewn anything before and it's surprisingly easy!
