Outstanding! I'm so glad it went well. :-)
Of course, I am going to have to handle my own autistic kid's birthday party on July 19th--as mom AND face painter AND a bit of a clown. ;-) Zoe LOVES the rainbow chips, coin trick (disappear and behind ear), and magic coloring book.
Just curious... What activities worked well for you? If you're willing to compare notes, maybe I can get some ideas for some of the other kids' birthdays. The special ed people in the district know me, so maybe we can get a referral thing going.
You have no idea how much special needs parents network. You may get a lot of word of mouth about this.
