Default Ta-Da!

So for the past few weeks I've been working on a costume to look like a real clown...

Here is the concept image:

So first step, was learning how to sew... Pulled out the machine and started playing around, my first test:

Well that wasn't so hard! I went to the fabric store and did some shopping. I picked up a nice jacket pattern and found the perfect fabric.

I brought it home and was sewing every night for a few weeks. I shopped thrift stores and found some Chef's pants which I modified, a tie for an upcoming parade (Independence Day) and when it all finally came together at 3:30am last night I was happy.

So today I played makeup and took some photos. It turned out just a bit different from the concept...

So yeah..

My shoes are on-order and have been shipped by clownmart, they should arrive next week

The Shirt and Pants are temporary, although I think they look pretty good! The tie is just for the 4th of July parade I'll be doing next week. That is going to be my first event ever as a clown!!!

My makeup changes every time I put it on, so that's a work in progress. Thanks for looking, any constructive criticism welcome!
