With Jim's sometimes I use tape and sometimes an adhesive. Jim sells two different types, one is probably a prostetic adhesive and the other is restickable.
The foam on the inside lasts longer than the nose as a whole. When I use a liquid adhesive no matter how careful I am each time I paint it on after a few months it seems that there are little makeup covered glue smears on the outside of my nose. I use different cleaners and for a while it cleans up pretty well for a while but eventually it is easier to toss it in a drawer as a backup and use a new one. With the tape that Leon sells I haven't had that trouble yet. Since I see Jim as well as someone that sells Proknows noses at least once a year (and usually more often) at a convention I just plan on bying a new nose every couple of years. I look just about every convention because it seems there is always a new shape that just begs to create a new character.
