several have mentions putting hats on the b-kids head to make it special. If it's hat's you keep and reuse you need to get in the habit of disinfecting them, you never know who might have a few little friends along for the ride.
But that being said. Dollar Tree has some great load fuzzy hats and I bought several so I could give my assistant his/hat. Just an FUI
Balloon hat could illiminate the problem.
