Default Bowler Hats: Questions within...

I'm working on making my clown and magician two seperate entities as part of my restructuring plan (dropping skills, learning skills, swapping skills, etc...) as I bring more friends and family into the clowning & magic world. Also, as mentioned in another thread, some local performers seem willing to alley up - so I can finally focus on the things I want to do, rather than having to be a clown-of-all-trades.

Anyway, back on topic - I digress...

I bought a new (to me) suit to hobo out, and have been browsing some bowler hats. Ferrecci has a pretty nice selection of styles and colors (it's surprisingly difficult to find a brown bowler hat) - with a small price. $29 down from $69 according to amazon and bizrate.

Anyone have one of these hats? Are they durable enough for manipulation?
