I grew up watching Bob Bell, so he was Bozo to me.
While I wish no ill will on anyone, I remember Larry Harmon not allowing Bob Bell to enter the Hall of Fame in Bozo Attire and some of his other franchise decisions that weren't as "kindly" as the media would have us remember today.
I know Larry Harmon as a businessman, who probably did do some good for clowning by franchising Bozo. Maybe not - I don't know...
Either way. I wish the Harmon family well, and pray Larry Harmon had his ducks in a row before he passed.
My memories of Bozo and Cooky and cast are fond ones, and I can't make myself replace Bob Bell with Harmon in my mind's eye....
I guess the best thing about Bozo being a franchise rather than a man is that the clown gets to live on...
Long live Bozo oh how I wish they would release the Bozo show on DvD
