[Jolly Well]: Try making up some of your better balloons - leave a business card and a letter explaining your services -- there was a sample one on the forum a log time ago. If you're not comfortable approaching people, it will at least get your card in someone's hand. Just drop a balloon arrangement off during non-peak hours

[Fitzwilly]: Willace -- is there a Cici's Pizza near you? I know that they have entertainers, usually it is tips only but it would get you out there and get you some experience. And they are more likely to say yes.

[Jolly Well]: I'd made a balloon bikini for a frend who use to work at one. Assuming the owner or other dancers saw it an liked the idea for a theme night
[Fitzwilly]: That is what most twisters do. They watch the tapes and copy the pieces on the tape, then they do those at the restaurant or at their birthday parties. That is why they buy the DVDs in the first place.

[Lolly Plop]: I put my web site up on decidio.com and get at least two or three calls a week I put my website up on decido.com and get one or two calls a week from there. It's free to put your site up, you have to put a link for them up on your site. I'm not sure if they are all over the country or just in my neck of the country. It's a site for weddings/parties businesses

[Jolly Well]: I've only made a couple attempts at it. I dotted the head onto a basic football balloon. Gives me the same basic shape. Also dotting the feet on the perch. I need to take a serious look at it I suppose. I tend to get lazy after a few attempts
