I cannot believe that I didn't see this thread before!
I'll keep it short since I just woke up and I doubt that you all want to hear my drowsy ramblings.

I have heard of the clown fetish, yes. It even has a special mention in Mary Roach's "Bonk: the Curious Coupling of Science and Sex."
However, the first time I had heard of it was when a friend told me about Ouchy the bondage clown.
Really, I don't see the overwhelming appeal of the clown fetish, but each to his/her own. That's not to say that I wouldn't give it a try, I let my freak flag fly.
