Been there. Last fall I was flying back from a clown conference and the security people spotted something suspicious in my bag. However, they were having problems figuring out what exactly it was. It turns out it was some steel "thumb cuffs" that I had purchased. (don't know why I purchased them, but I did). Anyway, I explained that I was coming back from a clown conference and the thumb cuffs were a purchase I had made there. The head security guy just shook his head and walked away, but I heard him mutter "kinky."
