I think the torn heart is good for any age group.
an hour can go pretty fast, Since I'm southern, I come out at the begin and get have of the group to yell "D" work on this a few mins, then the other have "How" yelp you guessed we end up with them yelling "Howdy".
You can also tell the story about taking on the armor of God and have a volunteer come up and you dress them in the Armor with Balloons. bascially the helmet hat for the helmet, and shield, one balloon tied end to end and twisted once in the middle to put on arms for the breast plate, sword, tiwst one around calf and then ankle [think 3 tiwst dog with head or tail]. To give proper credit this one I learned several years ago at a creative ministry festival and don't remember the instructors.
