View Full Version : Prayer
I was wondering if I could get prayer for COPD. I'm having trouble with asthma attacks today. Please pray that our Great Physician and Heavenly Father will grant healing through Our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you so much. I know He is able.
Nettie Belle 02-03-2010, 10:53 PM Most definitely. I have it too, and my daughter has asthma. It's scary. You will definitely be in my prayers.
Thank you and you and your daughter will be in mine.
Belle 02-04-2010, 07:49 AM oh most definitely - I am a school nurse and well I see A LOT of scary asthma attacks - I pray to our Lord God that your symptoms resolve and that He gives you the breathing comfort you so much deserve!
Cuzin Ollie J. 02-04-2010, 10:11 AM Love, definitely in my prayers.
I belong to a radio control forum that has a section devoted just to such requests. Maybe the mods. could start something like that here. If it offended anyone, they just simply wouldn't have to go there and look. Prayers are generated from around the world. If I offended anyone by saying this, then I am truly sorry. Just my $.02 worth. Jim
p.s. I'm not ashamed of my faith and trust.

Cluck 02-04-2010, 10:14 PM Praying now..................
UPDATE!!! I finally went to the lung specialist let me tell you what the prayers have done. After being told by 4 doctors I have COPD. Wednesday the lung specialist ran more test and told me you don't have COPD I said Thank you Jesus she smiled. She said the doctors have just not gotten me well. She is treating me with advair, prednisone, and my rescue inhaler for 3 week. She said after that I should only have trouble if I get broncitis. Thank you so very much for your prayers. GOD IS SO VERY GOOD.

Chester S Snaggletooth 04-16-2010, 12:48 PM I am adding this here, as a continuation of the overall topic, rather than starting new thread, and not to take away from the original concern that started this thread in any way.
A recent ear infection has left me suffering from Bell's Palsy. There is a facial nerve that runs just past the ear drum in the middle ear. Swelling in the middle ear from the ear infection can damage that nerve leaving that side of the face partially paralyzed. Usually, this is temporary, but can take weeks to resolve. I have no movement in my left brow or cheek. My eyelid and lips on that side are weak. I have half a smile. While there is a comic element to this, I can't possibly smile at kids as a clown with only half a smile. Prayers for a quick and complete recovery are appreciated.
Jodie 04-16-2010, 03:34 PM Chester so sorry to hear about this. Praying for a fast recovery for you.
Chester you will be in mine and my church's prayers.
Dynamo 04-20-2010, 05:42 PM I am sorry about that, Chester. All of us will add you to our prayers to ask for support. God bless.
saphireSue 04-20-2010, 11:38 PM chester hope it resolves quickly, and don't forget to do your facial exercises. It the one time you can get away with making faces out of makeup
