Hey there All I was wondering if anyone out there has worked any festivals. What did you do for your event(walkaround magic.balloonsetc.) and how did you do.Did you charge a price for your service or did you work for tips? Need some ideas for this type of clowning around. Depends on type of festival, Some I've charged a flat fee and did walk around type. We do a lot of donated time ie to cheer on walkers at the "walk to defeet ALS". If you check out the section on walk arounds you can get a lot of ideas. Be you best clowny self. I have a few jr clowns and I came across a balance board at Good will. they like to perform on it and at the last event they event had adults trying to balance. Music also help. And small give aways. Small circle type stickers you can get in the stationary department at walmart are great for clown noses. I didn't think it would work when another clown suggested it to me, but kids like them and I let them pick out the color nose they want. Small pocket magic that doesn't take a lot of prep. I hope this helps. Now at some festivals we were asked to do specific things like face paint and for this we charge for each design.
