Have been volunteer in my local kids ward for the last couple of years. I am only in once a week or so and for half an hour or longer if there are more kids in or regulars.
I make each child a balloon and then go home. Its a little sad knowing that some kids will be there for weeks but each time I see a child outside the hospital they rememer the balloon and the parents say how much difference it made to the day.
Am after other idears as to what to do, Love the bunny face idear it sounds eggcellent for next easter.
They also help me out as when I have a new trick or balloon they dont mind be using the kids as an audience so that I can practice.
I would encourage anyone who has a little spare time to contact there local kids ward. Its so amazing seeing the smiles.
Smiling is infectious pass it on
