Hello every one, I am new here and wanting to learn to be a clown (Provided starting at 41 years old is not too late to learn to be funny) I live in Webster, Ma. and am looking for contacts to meet and perhaps learn from.
It is a childhood dream of mine to become a Shrine clown. My Father would always tell me "10,000 Clowns out of work and your trying to be one!" Who am I to disapoint him. So any thoughts, suggestions, guidance or contacts you can give me will be joyously welcomed.

Welcome to the forum there is many Clowns here that can help. There are some Clowns that can make a very good liveing at this & Shrine clowns help pashints more then they know.

Welcome to the funhouse Dartel! It isn't too late to start as long as you still have the spirit of a child inside you. (And if you've really got a child inside you, let him out right now!)
You might want to go to COAI (http://www.coai.org/) and find a clown alley near you. Let us know how it goes!

Im from Chicopee Ma. and 41 is not too old to start clowning but its does take a lot of work to be a good clown
If you have any questions just ask there are some great clowns that will help you out

I think you'll find this a wonderful resource for clowns new and old.
Don't think you have to be out of work either. You can start part time and perhaps make it a full time job.
