Here's an easy routine involving a Banana, Dollar bill and a Thumb Tip.

Remember you are the Trickster and the Volunteer or Audience are the Trickee or Trickees.

At the beginning of your act borrow a Dollar Bill from a Trickee. I usually say something like. "I 'd like to start off by doing a very special trick involving a Banana and some cash, green stuff moola, or what ever you call paper money. It will work ok with a Dollar bill, Great with a Five, unbelievable with a Ten, Incredibly amazing with a Twenty, Super duper with a Fifty, and a problem with a Hundred Dollar bill, I might just keep it"

When a Trickee gives you a Bill, hand him a piece of paper and a pen and ask Him /Her to write down the serial number and either write his initials or put an identifiable mark on the bill.

Take the Bill, keep folding it until it is small enough to fit in your Thumb Tip. Vanish it, then Kibitz with the Trickee and Audience for a few minutes about losing it and you're getting paid by check and you'll be happy to send him a refund as soon as you can cash it.

Casually take out a Banana and announce that you get hungry when you're nervous. Slice the Banana and say look what I found in the Banana. Insert your Thumb Tip in the Banana, turn it upside down and let the Bill fall into the Trickee's hand. The let him check the serial number and personal mark made on the Bill. --- Take a Bow

Thank you Uncle Willy, that sounds like a really fun and visual trick that all children are going to enjoy. It does nothing different than the basic thumb tip silk vanish and requires no further skills or efforts to acquire, yet it is so much more interesting. Everyone loves bananas. In fact it should be a law, no clown should be allowed out on the streets without at least one good banana joke or stunt.

A wand/bill penetration first and followed by the bandana trick and you have the start of a very peculiar and funny magical routine.

MORE BANANA
Ok, here it goes, Using a Thumb Tip is Magic101 and does not require much dexterity, so as previously stated - "Practice, Practice, Practice".

Most Magic stores sell Zippered Banana Cases - simply put it is a case that looks like a Banana into which you place your peeled Banana.

To put a little more Piz-zaz into the Thumb Tip and Banana routine, try this.

Unzip the case, stuff in your Thumb Tip and let the signed Bill drop out. then just Zip up the case and Dump (Get rid of) it while they examine the Bill.


WANT MORE ?
When you get hungry you just take out the case and remove your Banana to eat.
WANT EVEN MORE - MORE ?

How about this, peel open a real Banana and it's already sliced, then say "The guy that owns the Banana Plantation is a real Cut up". To pre-slice the Banana with out peeling it open, just take a needle and insert it on an edge and move it around until you think you sliced that part. Just repeat the procedure several times.
