I came across the rope that stands straight up...what kinda thing do you do with this rope? I had it wilt from my hubbys bad breath but that isnt no kind of routine or anything.

I've seen clowns do the flea acrobatic show with the rope before, and it's pretty funny. I've used it in Halloween shows as a "Possessed Haunted Rope." I've also seen it used in lieu of an invisible dog leash.

I think I am gonna use it as my pet rope and have it in a box. Smaxy is gonna wanna play with it but it only listens to me so he cant get it to work and questions me about it..thanks for all your great help Pickles! You are awesome!

I've seen people have their invisible pet flea walk across the rope. I've also seen it used as a gospel magic instructive for adults. Ringling even employed it as a lead in bit to one of their acts a couple of seasons ago.

I have seen it used for a flea show and to tell the weather.

I use it for a quick bit in-between tricks. I pull it out wraped around my hand, i ask if they want to see a rope trick, then I stretch it between both hands, I say look two hands, then I say one hand, removing one letting it go stiff. Usually gets a few ahs, and ohs, then I say no hands, and I let go letting it drop to the floor. Gets a laugh, then I put it away and move into my real rope routine.

I've considered using one as a snake charmer bit... calling the rope out of a hat with my kazoo.

There are two rope tricks here:
1. stiff rope: cannot stand straight up, but stiffens horizontally. Good for flea circus, walking the dog, rope hypnosis, rope balancing
2. standing rope: This rope can stand straight up, and half can stiffen horizontally

I use stiff rope all the time, and will eventually make a standing rope. Which one are you referring? Both can be coiled up in your hand and put away compactly.
