I was just excited and had to share this with someone. A few days ago I was contacted by Ritter Comunications and the hired me to do their fall company picnic!!! This will be my first corprate event and I am so excited and also a bit nervous. The hired me to paint for 5 hrs and asked me to keep it to simple fast designs unless requested otherwise. I think I'm going to do a lot of Split cake designs because the will be fast and yet really pretty.

Congratulations on getting your first corporate event! Five hours is a long time. That'll be great! What are split cake designs?
I clowned at one company picnic, and it was lots of fun. Actually, that was the first time I EVER clowned! I volunteered with my clowning instructors.

Split cake designs are made with split cakes :: Silly Farm Supplies Inc. Face Painting | Body Painting | Airbrush Supplies | Arty Brush Cakes | Rainbow Cakes | Clown Supplies ::: Arty Brush (http://www.sillyfarm.com/store/index.php?p=catalog&parent=485&pg=1)
Just make doing really pretty designs much easier. I make my own though.

Thanks for explaining split cakes to me! At first I was imagining you face painting a bunch of birthday cakes split in half. Don't mind me! It's been a long day. It's cool that you make your own split cakes.

I think we are, Pinkie Bee! It's a little scary! I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought that, though.
By the way, whenever I read the title of this thread, I think of Balki's "Dance of Joy" on the show Perfect Strangers.

It's been several months since PrettyPaisley started this thread and clowned around at her first company picnic, but I had to post to say how much I love split cakes. Paula Biggio and Jodi Carr showed me just how great split cakes are. I bought a couple split cakes from Paula (neon rainbow and red/white/blue). I used them for the first time at a birthday party yesterday, and they were so much fun. You're right that they're quick but impressive.
