teacher ought to like this song. got to practice it, though it isn't easy to relearn it this way. The CBA Song (Reverse Alphabet Song) | The backwards ABC Song | Fun short kids songs (http://www.songdrops.com/funny-kids-songs-for-children/the-cba-song-the-reverse-alphabet-song-or-backwards-abc-song.html)

do you twist balloons,
Here is the link for how to twist all the letters of alphabet using the standard twisting balloons. http://www.fewdoit.com/Balloons_ABC_and_Digits.htmlYou could pull a letter out of a bag as you talk about the ABC's of clowning or as you show a visual like prop or something beginning with that letter or tell a joke with that letter.

Well Minniemirracles, since we are talking about learning how to spell, perhaps you should start with the thread title and try learning how to spell "Kindergarten". To me this kind of thing is a pride thing. It would embarrass me to think that the whole world has the opportunity to read my thoughts on clowning and all they see is illiteracy, bad spelling, lack of punctuation and glaringly obvious typos.Christians who dresses up as clowns and masquerade as clowns with the sole purpose and motive of getting closer to children to poison their minds with their evil lies. You disgust me
I suggest you start with the basics, learn the alphabet and simple words like bat and ball. If you work hard, after about ten years you should have acquired enough of the skills to allow you the confidence to pass them on to the next generation.

You could sing the "Alphabet Song" but add a funny twist. Sing it to the tune of "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". God hates clowns Ephisians 5:15

Or sing it to Mozart's harpsichord variations, even.

Boy: I think you are ABCDEFGHIJK.

Girl: What does that mean?

Boy: Adorable, beautiful, charming, delightful, elegant, feisty, gorgeous and hot.

Girl: And the 'IJK'?

Boy: I'm just kidding

Did anyone notice how long it takes to spell "Obsessive compulsive disorder", with alphabet spaghetti?

I'm have to correct you on saying Obsessive complusive disorder. it is NOT OCD! it is CDO -Compulsive Disorder Obessive in alphabetical order as it should be.

sorry minnie you asked for suggestions not smart aleck remarks to postings.

I have a apron that I fill with tiny stuffed animals (mostly beenie babies) when I do the chicken song and I pull out a "chicken" and the kids giggle and point out that its NOT a chicken its a bear! or a horse. they love that I keep getting it wrong. you can do something like that with the alphabet.

I'm here because I am a CLOWN that starts with the letter C. want to know what else starts with a C ? How about a cow? moo and pull out a Duck. How about a candy bar? yum yum and pull out lima beans. you can have lots of silly fun.

whatever they are learning, have them teach it to you. Act like you don't know the ABC's. Mess it up like A-B-C-6-delta-45-6,000-cupcake-oneway-x-Sally-John-34th St.

then have the kids correct you.

I do stuff like that in schools all the time. Funny

Watch videos of Sesame Street and The Electric Company. You'll get more concepts on how to teach about letters and words than you can ask or imagine.

Well Pinkie Bee, if you don't like my jokes with alphabet spaghetti, I'm afraid I shall have to eat my words. Ooops, I spilt some on the carpet. If the missus sees this it could spell disaster.

A good tip for your mental health. Save precious brain cells by only remembering the letters in the alphabet that you use most fre-uently.

Mr. D. Light as my momma always said,
a wise person knows that a tomato is actually a fruit
a intellegent person knows not to put it in fruit salad

An intelligent person also uses proper articles before a vowel.

JUST KIDDING!

Did you hear about the constipated alphabet? It needed a vowel movement!

all useful suggestions....how about this one...I recently put together a program that I go to a local Chick-Fil-A on a Monday morning (the 1st and 3rd of every month), with a short program to present to Toddlers (age 2-5). This is to boost their day time sales as they invite home day cares and mommy and me play dates. I do a different theme each time. Rainbow dresses the part of the theme. We've done colors, farm animals, jungle animals and manners. We sing songs, play games, make crafts, and have a story. I might bring out the balloons depending on the theme. This coming Monday is Occupations week. I have my thoughts, but would like some more input. Having the range of ages of 2-5 is a very broad spectrum. So what would you do? Our attendance has been 2 on some days and as much as 15 on others.

Rainbow,
You look like you are needing activities similar to preschool theme based things. Try the following websites to give you some ideas. These are theme base early childhood websites I have used frequently. The Perpetual Preschool (http://www.perpetualpreschool.com/) click the daily themes tab they have songs, activities alot of stuff.
Welcome to Making Learning Fun (http://www.makinglearningfun.com/) ran by a gal from good old Iowa mostly printable stuff but there are some games, felt board patterns etct.
Preschool Theme Ideas from A to F (http://www.everythingpreschool.com/themes/allthemes.htm) very similar to the first one but may help some
PRESCHOOL by Stormie (http://www.preschoolbystormie.com/) not theme based but does have an alphabetical list you can search. Usually monthly base activities
http://www.preschooleducation.com/ similar to the first one but pretty easy to navigate.
I have a ton of more if you are wanting to research. I really think the first one is about the best. They have tons of themes and after you click on a theme it breaks it down into categories such as music and songs, art projects. etc. so you can just look up what you want. Hope these help. If you want more just ask.
