hi guys,
miss you all like crazy. ive been outta the loop here lately because ive been working! yup thats right, gabby has some GIGS.
last weekend, i was the sole clown for this years regatta. its a 4 day long festival where they close the streets, have carnival rides, and major concerts, all for free for the city of charleston. i got invited to be the clown this year, so i worked for tips on friday, saturday, and volunteered on sunday for the united way function. my wrists were so sore and my fingertips had some minor blistering. i made as much as i charge in 2 hours for about 7 hours of work. just money that i needed anyways. but it was fun and i had a great time. i also walked in the grand feature parade on saturday and had my own cheering section at several points in the parade. it was a blast! www.sternwheelregatta.com i might be in the photos section at some point.
tonight i have a church group that im working for, and next sat i have a movie theater opening. following that, a birthday party on sunday (where they really wanted another clown but got me instead.)
so i have been a busy little girl and will continue to be so for the next while. next week is clown meeting here, so i might not make all of the chat...
