Sue,

Good to see you and your daughter and getting to meet Rooney. I'm glad ya'll had a good time and hope next time I can get there sooner and spend more time.

Each year is an inspiration at the KCD for me in one way or another and this year was no exception. The KCD is a GREAT conference that kinda Welcomes you home everytime.

See Ya there next year.

they had face painting and balloon competition. I talked Kelly and Allison into doing the face painting, good experience. but I had to enter the balloon one. But hey I got 3rd place...
there were only 4 doing mulitple balloons , but hey I got a metal.

It was a blast folks, Tony Jones did Kelly and Allison's make over in Auguste and lite Auguste and let me video, and as soon as I get the pic ready I post some of the events. They were very helpful and I passed out as many pins as I could and invited many back as they had been here before.

One great thing for a new clown, in his teens did the red nose critque and so impress the judges they had him do his routine during their show, and Steve announce they had also talked with Leon and he will be getting a scholarship from the KCD and Leon to take advance studies when he's ready. He's young but very talented. It's great to see how professionals that are big in the field are willing to help those starting out.

Not as many attended this year as last my guess would be about 72 [at dinner we had 9 table with seating for 8]. But as the classes were small the intructors could take more time with you and discuss things and they were great with Allison.

Yup,,,,Next year will be bringing in Leon McBride, Mama Clown and Duane & Mary Laflin.

With a lineup like that, it's sure to be a Blowout crowd so get your registrations in early.

It seems that attendance has been down this year all around at other conventions. Perhaps it was the gas prices, who knows?
