ok, so fy friend who im helping with magic also wants to do face painting. i dont know ANYTHING about face painting. but i showed her the paints to order from a catalauge and hse wanted glitter too. whats the difference between glitter you get at the craft store and special face paint glitter?

The glitter from the craft store is made out of aluminum and has sharp edges which are dangerous around the eyes. Cosmetic glitter is made of a safe material with rounded edges.

My favorite are the poof bottles at Silly Farm. they have tons of different colors and are Easy to use. Just poof anywhere when you're done with the painting. Or you can use Snaz glitter gel, it's very thick, and you need to add water, but it's nice (or liquid bling) to add sparkle to specific areas, or make dots.

I agree with Jitterbug, the poofer bottles are very nice and quick. I just use a white holographic glitter that sparkles and compliments whatever it's over. I started off with like 10 different glitters, but have cut back to one.
