Hi! After a fifteen year hiatus I'm returning to clowning. I've dusted off the magic tricks, bought new balloons, and discovered after all this time NOTHING can kill Stiens makeup! that stuff is indestructable.
SOOOO, any who, I was wondering if anybody reads this Board and if not where is everyone?

Hello Scruffy,
WELCOME BACK to clowning !! I think it's great you're taking it up again.
I read this board occasionally, and would read it alot more if people participated in it more. I dont really understand why it's not used more as I think it's a great means for sharing and growing and personally think that's what all of us, as clowns should be doing ...sharing and growing.
Anyway... bump a nose.

Hey I am here, and glad to hear that you are returning to clowning. I am new to clowning well I have been doing it for a few months, but less than a year. I just finished my first basic training and hope to do level 2 clownning course and become more connected with other clown organizations in my city....maybe hook up with the local clown alley also. Looking for any simple tricks, skits or good info that you would love to pass along.

Nice to know I'm not alone. I got started into clowning as a kid in High school through 4-H. I did a White face, an Auguste, and My alter ego, scruffy the tramp.
My wife is getting involved too! She is still working through character development. I hope to get her on here sometime.

:-D always around somewhere and THRILLED to hear you're back at it!! I've always believed that you can't take the clown out of a person - a real clown that is. :-D

Hey Scruffy, just jump right back in! Clowning is an art form whos origins date back before Biblical times. As long as you are pleasant, everybody will love you...and be tolerable to some of the mistakes you may make along the way! If you get a chance visit my website and tell me what you think!
