My pastor asked me if it's possible I make a skit for Easter, something simple, my friends help me, has to be a solo skit, I'm very close to quitting clowning but I want to be sure of that, give me inspiration .... thanks!

What was your answer to your pastors question?
Are you close to quitting because of this skit or ?
If you told him or her yes it is possible, then you must have had
some idea, right?
If you want inspiration from a fellow clown, let me just say this.

The sad and the happy clown work real well for an Easter skit,,,,yes,
it is possible. Think of what leads up to the Easter and what follows,
there is where you will find your answer. This time it won't be about the clown, but the clown will be remembered.:)

the little girl clown is sad about something... then she prays or reads the bible and it lifts her up!!! and shes happy just a start>>

Have you ever seen or heard of the resurection eggs by family life today? You can also find homemade versions online. They are basically 12 small easter eggs great for table top teaching that tell the easter story of Jesus from when he came into town on a donkey to finding the empty tomb (the last egg is empty) Its a great story telling thing that you can do as a clown its tough to funny when telling as story about someone being beaten to death but the surpise of an open tomb. If you look at my pictures I have made a stage version with large props.

Oopps!!! I have not uploaded them to this forum yet I will do it first thing in the morning. My set is 24 large eggs I made from the several different home made versions I found on line.

I will present the idea to the pastor and I know that everything is for the glory of the Lord's name .... thanks again ....

Silly Lilly Don't sell your nose and shoes yet!! Sometimes you do need a break if you are preforming alot and getting burned out. Maybe try a clowning class or seminar to get your funny refuelled. Youtube has a lot of christian comedians and comedy magic shows free to watch. I go there to get ideas to adapt for my own show and to just have a good belly laugh. You know the kind that wiggles the whole belly like a bowl of jello. Ok maybe thats just me I could work out more. And time in prayer where does God want your clowning to go. You could be using your skills without the make up and costume. My church is having me do story telling no clown involved but I still get to use my skills and God is helping me grow in different areas.

I have done a skit to the song "Arise My Love" by NewSong! Its powerfl song so it means you can keep skit simple, clean, polished, and moving!!

in the saint James verson, you have to read in between the lines, and have the codes, but it s what we do for a Chruch at Easter time which we renamed it Zombie Jesus Day
