Willace I like it. Painting only the bottom lip is traditional and it makes you appear to smile even when you aren't.

One question for those of you doing white face, is it just because it class or do any of you do full white face, meaning the neck.

Every one has their own opinions, when I see just the white around the face it looks more of a mime type, I prefer the traditional where all skin is covered when doing white face ie neck etc. I think it gives a more finished look.

Willace I would consider going without the beard I think it gives your clown face a cleaner look I have a beard in normal life but when it comes time to put the make up on i shave it off i dont like to but i think it really looks better in the end mabe even more professional

I just asked because I didn't see any of your class mates that do white face have the full look. I don't care much about copetition. I do think it looks better, my wig hides my ears and I use a turtle neck dicki to hide most of my neck but I do make up what shows when I do Sue. Sally Auguste lot more laid back.

Didn't mean to offend, just my 2-3-4 cents worth.

I agree with Scooter... I know you love your beard Willace, I just think you look better without it. :)

I do like the clean face better too. I would like to offer a suggestion. I don't have a copy of the official Clown Face handbook, but I am a makeup artist and we have always been taught to make the most our assets. I find the circles on your face to be too low. If they were higher they would be more like a rosy cheek look, and that is where I think it oringinated. Also, it would help you to have a more permanent "smile" look if you moved them up a little closer to the eye. You could really take advantage of your oval face by doing that.
