I painted my face
& I Put on a wig,
A costume, some shoes
That are three sizes to big.

I'm out on the floor
Just a'wizzing around,
The sillest, zaniest
Clown to be found.

But under the makeup
The clothes & the hair,
There's really a person
Who's tucked away there.

I've eyes that can see
& a nose just like you,
My feet Pretty normal,
Size 7 will do.

Two hands & two ears,
& a mouth & a neck,
Two shoulders, one tummy,
Here look come & check.

No need to be frightebed,
I'll show you my hand,
Now you show my yours
So we know where we stand.

I'm really a person
I just like to play,
To laugh & to sing
In a sweet, funny way.

So wont you join in
& be silly with me,
I'll dress you up right,
You can clown 'long with me!

Very good!
I've never heard it before, but it's very true!

Like I tell people - the main reason I dress in clown garb is because clowing is more acceptible if you look like one. :D
Otherwise, they tend to call the authorities. :x :pie:

We clowns can be a fearsome bunch, afterall! lol

(Though the people that scare me are the ones who think that they ARE to be feared and the one's who are so seriously "normal".)
