Greetings all...I stumbled upon the forum this afternoon...I'm a member of a few other business related forums...

I actually do a little bit of everything...I own a company in Chicago called Let the World Know...We specialize in ...well...pretty much... fun...

We offer party rentals i.e. inflatables, concessions, carnival games...etc.. yard cards which is like sending someone a yard sized greeting card...we deliver and decorate lawns overnight while people are sleeping...and lastly...entertainment...clowns, singing telegrams...other characters, DJs, karaoke, game masters...etc...

I personally have been clowning for 9 years this past October...I've had to scale down a bit due to the rest of the business blooming...but I still enjoy my outings none the less...My clown name is Alawada...which gives the kids a bit of a challenge in saying...I asked a Nigerian guy one day if there were clowns in Africa...and we ended up having an engaging conversation about it...Well...I asked what word cames to mind when he thought of clowns...and Alawada was one of them...It actually means, funny, comical and amusing...and sexy...oh wait...I through that one in myself...lol...anyhow...I'm sure I'll find and contribute alot of information in the years to go...

Welcome Alawada, hope the members of the forum here can still teach you something new even after your nine years of experience!

The best teacher is one who is still learning...
I used to teach 7th and 8th grade math in the Chicago Public Schools as well.

I'm sure I'll learn just as much from you guys as I might be able to shell out...Why just today I learned a new way to present the coloring book...that I rather liked...

Welcome to the forum!

...we deliver and decorate lawns overnight while people are sleeping

Our church youth group is involved in that right now as a fundraiser! It's HILARIOUS! For $10 you can have them place 50 pink flamingos in someone's yard overnight. If you're afraid of being "Flamingo'd" you can purchase Flamingo Insurance for $20. The kids have a hoot and the youth will use the cash to go to national youth gathering and things like that.

Now I like that idea, 20 pink Flamingos......., I'd liked to wake up to see that in my yard one day.

Just as long as you don't have to clean up after them!
