I have to say that October is a good month for face painting. For outdoor events, it is definitely NOT too hot and with Halloween coming up, kids seem to be better at convincing their parents to let them get their faces painted. I am a fan of the monster makeovers and that too is more popular in October. I got to do a bunch of vampires for the haunted house at the local school today.

I want to post something Sue; I just need to take the time to get the paints out and sit down to do it. One of these days. I really want to try something semi-scary, as I don't paint that kind of stuff very much.

Here are a few designs I tried out on myself for Halloween. I really need to work on my vampire's eyebrows; they look too clowny.

I love painting scary faces for Halloween. My clown alley sometimes when http://www.clown-forum.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=2261&stc=1&d=1319951753we are at events certain clowns say they DO NOT paint scary and I say comeon and I will. its all fantasy!

That's what I said for awhile too, but I guess I want to be able to provide those designs if the client really wants it. There are some teenagers out there who wouldn't be satisfied with anything else. That being said, I will use my discretion. If I think something is too scary for the type of event I'm at, I'll just say I can't paint it.

Same here, depends on event. I did a church fall festival Sat. I requested no ghost, vampires anything like that [I had several request for skulls and vampires but had to tell them sorry church event could do those tonight], kids were ok with it. I always ask before hand, which I recommend every one do, you never know. I had my ghost, vampire balloons packed and would have used them had I not check first.

What's wrong with being clowny? Are you too good for us now?

I'm teasing, of course. Those faces look great!

Happy Halloween. "I wonder if we should drive a stake through his heart just in case."

I was going for somewhat glamorous vampire, like the Twilight ones. But those eyebrows just kept getting bigger and bigger. Maybe this vampire was crossed with a werewolf.
