Hi .... the name is jake and I've been doing my act since the mid 60's under the name of Hey-U. I worked out of Pittsburgh and did shopping malls, fairs, schools, and just about everything else. I did magic, plate spinning, balloons, Punch & Judy, and vent .... (moved my lips enough to embarass myself, but the kids still liked it). I'm not clowning professionally anymore, but still enjoy keeping up with it.

Hey-U -- I like that name! Somehow I think being a clown is different from being a dental technician or an engineer. You can "retire" from those things but can you truly, seriously "retire" from being a clown? I bet you will always be a clown whether you earn another dime from it or not. You sure could teach me a lot. Stick around!
