I have recently had an operation on my 'private parts' and am subsequently finding it uncomfortable to wear regular trousers. Can anyone reccommend somewhere where I can get really baggy trousers with a hoop around the waist, preferably held up with braces, as I am also finding belts uncomfortable?
Many thanks

Why don't you try oversized coveralls like the farmers wear - while you are recovering - that is what my husband wore when he was recovering from hernia surgery.

I was going to suggest the same thing. something else you might try is to use the bottoms of too large pajamas. glad to hear you are recovering. Best of luck :-)

wish you all the best on your recovery :-D
I went to our local "mart" of choice (ie KMart or Walmart, I don't remember which) and went to the big men's section and got something like size 56 pants...then I cut them off below the knee and hemmed them with that iron on stitch witchery stuff and then I went to Home Depot and got some wire, put a small hole in the waistband and fed the wire in. This has worked great because they are cargo pants so there are tons of pockets, and I just remove the wire before washing and use suspenders to keep them up - which the wire helps with also as it provides something a bit thicker for the teeth in the suspender clamp to hang on to!
I also went to the local craft store - AC Moore and got a bunch of patches and ironed them on all over the pants.
A little bit of work I admit, but they are now all my own and 100% original!
